Met an Egyptian lady at the hotel who said that the country was safe for tourists so there
would be no problem going. Her Palestinian husband kept baiting and teasing her to say otherwise but she was adamant. As for my visa there was no luck at the Egypt embassy. Have to return with other documents
New plan means we stay in Jordan until the end and then cross the border once down south to avoid having to re enter. Day is now free for the citadel and the Roman theater.
Also saw different perspectives of the largest free standing flag in the world? (Apparently North Korea's is larger but held in place by cables)
Back downtown I indulged in some sugar cane juice and other fresh versions available at the many stalls on the streets. Can't be that many vendors if it wasn't safe right?
