The snuff of legend

Heading south now andis n o road to speak off. But maybe at least now, we'll be warm..er
For sure we're not on a horse anymore so we don't have to get out the Jeep unless we want to.
Lunchtime set the tone however as it was too cold to pitch a table so we instead had a picnic
in the car.
Saw some wildlife in the evening, those that the gods decided could be made to withstand
this miserable cold.
Based on the lunch episode it was also clear that the tents we planned to use were not going to leave their
bags tonight. Nope! Off again to impose on one of these nomadic families to spend the night.
Once again we got lucky. Found one of the deserted-because-it's-winter-you-idiot guest sites
but the caretaker was there for the season. Trying to find somewhere else would not have been a pleasant option.
The downside here was a much longer walk to the bathroom, bright red and cosy as it was.
Pre dinner involved our introduction to snuff. You take the bottle with your right hand, take
a scoop and snort whatever that is with vigor. Only afterwards do they tell you that you can
politely decline and just sniff the bottle and pass it along. A good coughing fit on our part
(and a laughing fit on their part) was enough of
reminder of how NOT to do this going forward.

simple but effective
doesn't  matter where north is

The far away toilet
Need more gloves

that would be us
